Svelate le nomination della 26esima edizione dei Critics Choice Awards, la manifestazione che premia annualmente i migliori film e programmi televisivi da rappresentanti della critica statunitense.
La 26esima cerimonia annuale dei Critics Choice Awards si terrà domenica 7 marzo 2021, presso il Barker Hangar di Santa Monica, in California, e sarà trasmessa in diretta dalla rete televisiva The CW. Nel caso in cui non sarà possibile svolgere la manifestazione in presenza, verrà comunque celebrata in maniera virtuale e trasmessa in diretta, sempre sul canale The CW.
Tra le nomination della 26esima edizione dei Critics Choice Awards troviamo in testa con sei nomination ciascuno Ozark e The Crown. Netflix è in testa con 26 nomination seguita dalla HBO con 22. Al terzo posto il canale cable FX con 14 nomination.
Il CEO della Critics Choice Association Joey Berlin, ha dichiarato in merito a questa edizione speciale dei Critics Choice Awards:
Siamo molto felici di celebrare l’incredibile lavoro svolto da tutti i canali e piattaforme streaming quest’anno. In un anno in cui la necessità di intrattenimento è innegabile, il settore si è mobilitato per offrire comunque serie bellissime che sono riuscite a deliziarci, educarci e, soprattutto, riunirci tutti”.
